    • Choosing the right school, whether public or private, can be a confusing process. We draw upon our years of experience with the Washington, DC metropolitan area schools and school systems to help you navigate the different choices and determine the best fit for your student.
  • Review of Records and Educational History
    • Using past data, we can gain a fresh perspective of your child’s educational needs. Along with extensive parent intake, we are able to develop a student profile that outlines the strengths and weaknesses of the student as well as suggest steps for further support.
  • Reading and Interpreting Educational Testing Data
    • Often parents complete educational testing at the recommendation of the school or other outside professionals. However, educational testing results can bring more questions. It’s Elementary is able to help parents decipher this extensive document, prioritize needs and recommend the best course of action.
  • School Intervention
    • When the school is not meeting the needs of your child, it can be frustrating. It’s Elementary can help to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of current school programs. In addition, we can suggest interventions that may be more appropriate for your child’s learning style and help you work collaboratively with the school.
  • School Transitioning
    • Moving from elementary to middle school, middle school to high school or even from a public to a private school can be difficult for students. It’s Elementary can help students with this transition. By previewing curriculum, filling gaps presented when curriculums are not aligned and remediating necessary material, we are able to ease the anxiety that can occur during a school transition.
