Frequently Asked Questions

  • It’s Elementary tutoring sessions are one hour in length unless otherwise specified. Extended sessions can be scheduled with individualized tutors.
  • Sessions more than 60 minutes or less than 50 minutes will be prorated.
  • Sessions are coordinated by your tutor and take place at a mututally agreed upon time and place. This is usually the student’s home, public library or bookstore or in some cases at the student’s school.
  • Billing takes place on a monthly basis and payment details are provided on the invoice. Invoices are payable 15 days after receipt.
  • Rates vary depending on your tutor or service provided and are determined after a free initial consultation.
  • There are no registration, enrollment fees or time commitments.
  • Please give your tutor 24-hour notice when canceling a session, or it may be necessary to bill you for the missed appointment. However, we understand that emergencies happen and we will be happy to work with you in any unexpected situation.
  • Weather emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis.
  • It’s Elementary does not accept insurance. However detailed invoices with progress summaries can be provided for parents to submit to insurance companies upon request.

AS A RULE WE DO NOT CHARGE FOR THESE KIND OF COMMUNICATIONS AS IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR CHILD.
